Oral history (978.886 ROE) covering Dorothy Roerig's grandfather’s work on the Cheeseman Dam (he was a master stone mason from England), memories of summers on the South Platte river at Nighthawk starting in 1905, Denver Water Board activities along the river, and the attempted Two Forks Dam construction project. Interview conducted by Johanna Harden for the Douglas County Historic Preservation Board and transcribed by Pamela Catlin. Accession also includes a Nighthawk and South Platte area booklet of stories and a poem written by Dorothy Roerig .
