These records include minutes from the Douglas County Planning Commission as well as filings by the developers of Jackson Creek Ranch and The Canyons and letters from the public about these potential subdivisions. Collection also includes newspaper articles, mailings to the publics and reports from the Douglas County staff to the Planning Commissions. These records were created by Mark Weston and the Douglas County Planning Commission during Mr. Weston’s tenure as a member of the Douglas County Planning Commission. These records were created during the course of the approval process for the Canyons and Jackson Creek subdivision in Douglas County Colorado. Mr. Weston cast the deciding vote to deny the application for the Canyons, and the Jackson Creek Development application was withdrawn.
