Perry Park visual materials collection, 1967-1977
Scope and Content
This collection consists of photographic materials created by A. L Schafer, a freelance photographer working for the Colorado Western Development Company during the construction of the Perry Park subdivision (located near Larkspur, Colorado). The majority of the images document the development of Perry Park, beginning in the late 1960s: road construction, water and sanitation installation, housing construction, building the Echo Hills Club, scenery and geology of the area, golfing, community events, and gatherings of Perry Park residents. Many of the materials in the collection were used in the production of the Panorama newsletter (a publication for residents of Perry Park).

This collection is open to researchers. Archives and Local History material is non-circulating and requires staff retrieval. See archives.dcl.org for hours of operation.
